What interesting cars come to your parking lot?

I work in a drugstore out in the middle of nowhere. This normally seems like it would me that the most exciting vehicles I see are farm trucks and the odd tractor. That is not the case, I see a huge variety of pretty cool cars from hot rods to restorations and modified everything. Here are a couple cars owned by regulars and the day that a pack of Trans Ams stopped by on their way to the nationals. Sorry for iPotato pictures. What does Oppo see at their places of work?

The level of interest in my parking garage is about zero/negative.

There's my A4, boss-man's M5, Co-Workers Z4, and other Co-Workers RR Sport. Then a ton of beige-y cars.

Lol, the Non manual M5 is pretty interesting to look at. But after a while it's same old same old.

It's all the same people, working in the same building, always. Occasionally, there's a couple new cars but that's usually just people from other spaces who parked in the wrong section.

Weeelll, at school, nothing much. There's a Carrera S cabrio, along with a Carrera 4 that belongs to my history teacher. My old biology teacher used to have a Saab 900 convertible, that disappeared after she got a Golf Plus. One of the IT teachers has a MK4 Golf V5. Then there's my old French teacher who has an X5 xDrive50i, with yes, a big burbling V8, which is actually pretty rare. And for some reason, there's also a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, equipped with bullbars - least practical and useful car in the whole lot. Then there was that bitch of a teaching assistant that had a rusty, autotragic Miata.

Very occasionally, we get the odd exotic - about six months ago, there was a BMW 850i that turned up, I have no idea who it belonged to. A few years ago, a Gallardo sailed through for no apparent reason. Then one day, the daughter of Bruce Rockowitz (both his daughters went and go to my school) got picked up in a Continental GT. Then there was Business Day, when a businessman turned up in his Aston V8 Vantage N24.

The guy who owns the yellow Porsche also has an NSX, CL63 Black, SL600 Silver Arrow and he just got a Viper.

The guy with the R8 also has an E-type, C6 Z06 and about 10 other cars that I haven't seen yet. The both of them make sure to show me their new cars whenever they get them.

Really the most interesting cars at work are my my fellow deliver drivers' rides: 300ZX Twin Turbo, 944 Turbo, and an old Cooper S (the supercharged kind). Safe to say I'm just about the only driver who doesn't have a forced-induction beast.

Someone drove a Lotus Europa to work once. I have seen a GTR in one of the lots at work and an assortment of Corvettes along with a smattering of Porsches. Otherwise most people I work with drive trucks.

Nah, it's an international high school. A really expensive high school. I was lucky to get in, but now monthly school fees are really dragging my family out. I wish I wasn't such a burden, but no other school could accept me all those years ago because either all placements were full, too expensive(!) or I didn't meet their language requirements. It costs more to go to my high school for a year than it does to go to Hong Kong University, at nearly US$1,500 per month. For new students in the grades below, they have to suffer a 25% increase. It's also a school where seasoned teachers get paid around US$6,500 a month, although this could be more.

I usually have the only interesting cars at work. Somebody in the office above us has a thing for Jeeps and sometimes brings in an old military 'little jeep'. Our CEO drives a TDI Q7 that's very cool. One coworker has a new Grand Cherokee and he likes to drive like a nut. Otherwise it's a lot of accord/prius/CRV/Camry types. I usually create a stir when I drive the MG in ('54). When I bring in the Buick ('73 LeSabre) I get a lot of WTFs and weird comments.

None that I know of. I know my school is subsidised by the government, but that hardly stops them from charging exorbitant prices. You do get priority if your parents work there, or you went to another school that was connected through the same organisation. In the future though, I expect there to be debentures to be included. You do see a lot of foreign expats who go to my school, people who can afford to pay for both a big house and big money for education. It's why Bruce Rockowitz's two daughters have been to my school and why one of my classmates has a bedroom half the size of my apartment.

Everyone thinks the MG is cool, that always stirs things up in a positive way. People don't know what to make of the LeSabre. It's just so damn BIG! (and it's got primer all over the rear quarters, and it's loud, and ...)
